Dale hold Addicks

Chris Powell's Charlton extended their lead at the top of npower League One to seven points but were left frustrated after having to settle for a 1-1 draw against lowly Rochdale at The Valley.

Nicky Adams stunned the hosts by firing Dale into a 53rd-minute lead but it lasted just three minutes before Yann Kermogant blasted a free-kick equaliser after being fouled by Kevin Long.

Dean Bowditch scored both goals as MK Dons consolidated fifth place with a 2-1 win over Bury, who had taken a 10th-minute lead through David Amoo but later saw Giles Coke sent off.

Florent Cuvelier scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute as Walsall leapfrogged Scunthorpe with a 1-0 win at Glanford Park which leaves the Iron in the League One relegation zone.
