Barrow finished 15th last year and have used their budget wisely this season, with management team David Bayliss and Darren Sheridan, adding to a battling squad without any notable losses.
Keeper Alan Martin is in on loan from Leeds along with Andy Cook from Carlisle. On the permanent side Ciaran Donnelly arrives from AFC Blackpool on a free along with forward Danny Forrest from Crawley Town.
The Bluebirds have also  picked up Matt Heywood and Marc Goodfellow, who were both unattached.
